Fastest Known Paddle (FKP) aims to create community through inspiration, friendly competition, and the celebration of paddle athletes across the globe. We hope to do this free of charge to the paddling community by documenting and celebrating the fastest known human-powered paddling adventures across the millions of navigable waterways on Earth.

While all suggestions will be considered, we cannot guarantee that any suggestion will be implemented.
Paddlers
Anyone can register as a paddler on our site, so please do so via our free paddler profile registration form. While registered paddlers are not required to submit routes or FKP attempts, you must be registered if you wish to submit a route or FKP. Browse all registered paddler athletes.
Routes
If you don’t see one that you are interested in, that only means it hasn’t been submitted by the paddling community yet, so please feel free to submit any route you believe to be truly epic by visiting our route submission page. For fully transparent information on what classifies as a route, visit our guidelines page.
FKPs
A Fastest Known Paddle, or FKP, represents the fastest time interval, in total elapsed time, that an approved route has been paddled under human power only. While there is only one true FKP per route, we do also recognize fastest attempts by gender and craft.
